China Industry Intel (CII) is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and actionable intelligence on China’s industrial economy. Our editorial policy governs how we create, verify, and publish content to ensure the highest standards of journalistic integrity.
Content Standards
Accuracy & Verification
- Multi-source verification: Every claim in our articles is cross-referenced with at least 2-3 independent sources before publication.
- Primary source priority: We prioritize official government data (NBS, MIIT, PBOC), company filings, and earnings calls over secondary reporting.
- Specific attribution: All data points include specific dates, locations, and source citations. We do not use vague attributions like “sources say” without context.
- Fact-checking process: Our AI-assisted editorial pipeline includes automated fact-checking against verified databases, followed by human review for context and accuracy.
Independence & Objectivity
- Editorial independence: Our content is created independently. We do not accept payment for coverage, and sponsorships are clearly disclosed.
- Balanced perspective: We present multiple viewpoints, including bull, bear, and base case scenarios for market-moving events.
- No promotional content: Our articles are analytical, not promotional. We do not publish press releases disguised as news.
AI-Assisted Content Creation
- AI as a tool, not a replacement: We use AI systems to collect, structure, and draft content, but all articles undergo human review and verification before publication.
- Transparency: Our articles are attributed to “CII (China Industry Intel) – Contributing Analyst” to reflect our collaborative human-AI editorial process.
- Quality control: Every article must pass 15+ quality checks including factual accuracy, source verification, data table validation, and SEO compliance.

Corrections Policy
If we publish inaccurate information, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted at the top of the article with the date and nature of the change. For significant errors, we publish a separate correction notice.
